Was It PPM or Keith Sweat That Cost Delilah a Job in Cincinnati?

6 May 2010 840 views One Comment

Premiere Radio Network syndicated radio night maven Delilah was replaced with local programming (Warm At Night) earlier this week at WRRM Cincinnati. The reason given for the move was WARM 98′s PPM ratings slide versus last years diary based numbers. However, according to Cincinnati.com TV and Media blogger John Kiesewetter, what supported PD Chris Lynn’s decision to make a change was an incident last March when Premiere inadvertently fed the Keith Sweat Hotel (the network’s Urban night show) to Delilah affiliates…and no one noticed. Well, let’s just say they didn’t call.  To be fair to Delilah, WARM 98 also recently dropped a Sunday night Smooth Jazz show based on low PPM numbers moving it online.
