Fox Sports Radio, celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall, has inked a long-term extension of its distribution agreement with Premiere Radio Networks. FSR, a division of Premiere, was launched in 2000. Under the new long-term deal, Premiere will continue producing and distributing the Fox Sports Radio Network. Terms were not disclosed. In addition, the Fox Sports Radio Network is enhancing its distribution platform, synchronizing the audio, digital, online and television assets of Fox Sports Enterprises, FoxSports.com and the Fox Sports Radio Network. The result, FSR says, is expected to extend the reach and engagement of these brands with consumers.

FSR’s sports entertainment lineup featured personalities Stephen A. Smith, Dan Patrick, Jim Rome, Chris Myers, Steve Hartman, Petros Papadakis, Matt “Money” Smith, Tony Bruno, JT “The Brick” and others. Fox Sports Radio’s programs and personalities are heard on nearly 400 affiliates.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 10th anniversary,” stated FSR VP/General Manager Don Martin. “These significant steps are integral to the growth of Fox Sports Radio as we continue providing the best destination for sports entertainment audio content.”

Premiere President of Content and Affiliate Relations Julie Talbott stated, “This partnership affirms our commitment to listeners and affiliates to give them the best content available, delivered by some of the most talented, knowledgeable and entertaining sports personalities on the air today.”
