Premiere Ends Bill Handel Show

12 February 2010 1,307 views One Comment

Bill Handel’s Premiere Radio Networks syndicated midday weekday show is over, and his flagship station, Clear Channel Talk KFI-A Los Angeles is replacing him with CFRB-A Toronto talker Bill Carroll effective February 22nd.

“I definitely underestimated how much having a second show would eat up my day,” said Handel. “That’s why I’m leaving the noon show behind…that, and the fact that no one wants to hear that much from me, not even my wife!”

Handel who had been doing double duty on KFI  will continue his local morning show and weekend syndicated radio show “Handel on the Law” show.

Good luck with Bill Carroll. He is known as “Bill the Shill” because of all the kickbacks he gets from unofficially promoting products while on the air.

He’s ratings were the pits, he was dumped as the morning man from CFRB.

He loves to say that people love him and people love to hate him, when in reality, he’s actually not well liked by even his co-workers.
