Agent: CBS Snatched Nick Cannon From Clear Channel

21 January 2010 215 views No Comment

Inside Radio is reporting that Premiere Radio Networks offered to clear Nick Cannon  in afternoon drive “on a significant number of their stations,” according to Robert Eatman, who represents Cannon. Then the agent arranged a meeting with CBS. The rest is recent history.  Eatman says of the meeting with CBS,  “Nick was well prepared and blew CBS away with his knowledge of radio and his enthusiasm.”  CBS is hoping Cannon will put them in a better position with female demos  in their male heavy New York cluster and put them on top with 18-34′s in morning drive which has been long dominated by Elvis Duran on “Z100” WHTZ.
