“Rush Radio” Makes Carolina Debuts

4 January 2010 454 views No Comment

File this under  “you can’t pay for this kind of promotion.” Clear Channel radio kicked off two new FM talkers in North Carolina today, both dubbed “Rush Radio” with the Premiere Radio Networks syndicated radio host anchoring the lineup at both Raleigh’s WRDU-FM and Greensboro’s WGBT-FM. The Raleigh lineup also includes Premiere Radio Networks’ Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Jason Lewis and Coast-To-Coast AM with George Noory, as well as Compass Media Networks’ Todd Schnitt. The Greensboro lineup is basically the same with the exception of Hannity who will start in the spring. Talk about perfect timing for a new station launch, Limbaugh will return to the air on Wednesday (1/6) following last weeks heart attack scare while vacationing in Hawaii.
