Keith Sweat Takes Over “Quiet Storm” in New York

Singer Keith Sweat, host of the Premiere Radio Network syndicated radio Urban AC evening  show “The Keith Sweat Hotel,” joins the WBLS-FM New York lineup as host of “The Quiet Storm” beginning January 4th. The 7pm-midnight ET weeknight show will be produced by Premiere but will be different from “The Keith Sweat Hotel” customized for New York and WBLS.

“I couldn’t be happier to be heard in my home town on the station I grew up listening to,” said Sweat. “WBLS is the must-listen-to station for R&B fans in New York, and I want to thank them for this tremendous opportunity.”

WBLS Program Director Skip Dillard said, “From the first time I put ‘Make It Last Forever’ on the turntable at my college radio station back in the mid-‘80s, I knew this man would have a lasting impact,” “From Harlem to the world, Keith Sweat is truly one of the best in R&B.”

Sweat is the latest in a line of personalities on WBLS to host “The Quiet Storm,” including long time New York radio icon Vaughn Harper.
