“Barry From DC” Makes the Radio Rounds

23 December 2009 286 views No Comment

Barack Obama continues to solidify his administrations reputation as the most media savvy and accessible in Presidential history. His call in yesterday to the nationally syndicated radio Tom Joyner Morning Show to address safety concerns regarding the H1N1 vaccine was also used as an opportunity to speak directly to the African American community about Health Care reform,  jobs and the wars in Iraq and Afganistan. The Presidents use of radio wasn’t relegated to syndicated radio either, “Barry from DC” also made a call from the Oval Office to local Washington DC  station WTOP to prank Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine during his monthly “Ask The Governor” show and wish him and his family a Merry Christmas.
