CBS Radio “Amps” Up LA Mornings with Carson Daly

CBS Radio has announced the signing of  Carson Daly for wakeup duties at KAMP “Amp 97.1″ Los Angeles beginning Monday January 4th,  and it’s not a stretch to think that this would have future radio syndication possibilities for CBS.  Daly did nights on sister station KROQ-FM before he went on to host MTV’s Total Request Live and  “Last Call with Carson Daly” show for NBC. This pits two personalities with somewhat similar career tracks opposite each other in LA, Daly and Premiere Radio Networks syndicated radio personality Ryan Seacrest at Clear Channel’s KIIS-FM 102.7. Daly’s new radio show will air from 6-10am, with multiple distribution channels for mobile devices. ”It is very exciting to be back on the airwaves doing mornings on AMP Radio and to be back in business with my friends at CBS Radio,” said Daly. “Now, not only can people fall asleep to my late night show on NBC, but they can wake up with me on the radio too. I’m thrilled to join a thriving new station in my own hometown.”
