30 November 2009 119 views No Comment

Longtime WABC New York nationally syndicated radio personality and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa has left the Citadel Broadcasting News/Talker after being a part of the station’s lineup for most of the last two decades. Sliwa who has hosted nearly every shift on the station was unable to come to terms on a new deal and will announce a new NYC radio home shortly. Weekender John Batchelor returns to his old 9pm-1am nightly timeslot on WABC beginning November 30th. Batchelor will continue to host his newly syndicated weekend shows which airs on KSFO San Francisco, WMAL Washington and WTKK/Boston.  Sliwa will host his network show from the WABC studios for the next two weeks.
