Wendy Williams has put more distance between her old life as a syndicated radio personality and her new one as a television talk show host, renewing her deal with Fox Television for “The Wendy Williams Show” through the 2011-2012 season.

The renewal includes the Fox O&Os in the top-markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas.

“There was no question that we wanted to renew The Wendy Williams Show given what we’ve seen thus far in both content and ratings,” says Fox’s Frank Cicha. “We anticipate even further growth as the show continues to emerge as a key building block, and Wendy as a key personality, of our daytime landscape.”
