Citadel Taps Kidd Kraddick for Hot AC Morning Show

16 November 2009 990 views No Comment

Tom Taylor at Radio-Info is reporting this morning that Kidd Kraddick has been picked by Citadel Media to be the morning show for it’s Hot AC syndicated radio format. Kraddick is based in Dallas (as is Citadel) at Clear Channel’s KHKS, but does his own syndication. The rest of the “Hot AC” daytime lineup will include Teresa Brown, mid-days, and Race Taylor (WPLJ New York) in afternoons. The Citadel restructuring continues at their Classic Hits format as well with air personalities Jay Fox, Mike Preston and Ron Foster out at the 24/7 service. All the talent switching at Citadel and it’s effect on stations locally has got Inside Radio publisher Eric Rhodes a little ticked. His latest blog entry in defense of Citadel affiliates and the damage the talent changes can cause is here.
