27 October 2009 161 views No Comment

Dial Global Radio Networks announced Tuesday that it had hired 18 additional air personalities to meet the growing demand for their satellite-delivered music formats. Since acquiring the Waitt Radio Networks in 2008, Dial Global has experienced strong growth in its formats and the need for a significant number of air personalities.

President Kirk Stirland commented, “We believe that great air talent, who sound live and local, give our stations a huge competitive advantage. Dial Global is the only company that offers top personalities who deliver personalized breaks for our affiliates. The demand has been so strong for this service that we’ve outgrown our current air staff and needed to hire more.”

Executive VP/Programming Beau Phillips added, “Dial Global is committed to hiring great air talent who can engage listeners and establish loyalty in our brands. Our strategy is based around strong air personalities. They are the key to putting the magic back into radio.”
