I hope this means that more people will support this station. Warren does a great job of keeping us informed and creating dialogue on issues that we otherwise would not have knowledge of.

Please bring back Warren Ballentine and Al Sharpton, they educated us on alot of things. We need them in the Charlotte and surrounding areas. With the information they provided it made you investigate, it made you open up your eyes and WAKE-UP!. There are things going on and you need to be equip with knowlege to be able to address all issues and concerns. I really do miss both talk show host. I dont listen to 92.7 anymore.

Our community should stick together if Tom Joyner Morning Show is still representing this so call Radio One station what is that. I understand everyone is trying to make a dollar but the black community must stick together other culture have each other backs but blacks do not we just turn the other cheek. This is why stations like Rush limbaugh and Radio One continue to throw their weight around all blacks should not I mean should not support the station get into the pocket people believe me they want to eat too. As long as keep making them on top they will continue to sail the boat. I hope Tom Joyner show will wake up they are being use their voice would be great if they too would stand up all of the black radio stations stop being so scare everyone has a voice. I will never listen to 92.7 I will back Warren and Al Sharpton Truthfighter.

People as long as we continue to support this booty music all day everyday we must say no. Music is not all what defines the black culture or any culture. 99.3 in Charlotte Nc keeps their station going for their listner and keep the hate going on strong WBTV. People wake up we should look for other reliable stations to host Al and Warren on. We are letting Radio One define us they are laughing and saying that black people only deserve booty music all day everyday. This RadioOne Station is a sell out and they are scare. There station were so sorry when i did listen to Warren I would have to make sure I had a clear signal for it to come through. It was a sorry station Warren and Al will have a real station again . These other black stations should stand up as well and discuss that we do need news in the correct perspective instead of a racist stand point. Wake up people we are worth more than booty music.

I am distraught about how Radio so call One has removed our two people Warren and Al. I live in Kings Mnt. nc and listening to Warren and Al was a breath of real issues.This world is corrupt we all know this the only stations we have is the booty music 97.9 and the racist station 99.3 Rush limbaugh the whole Wbtv station that has a clear tone for there whole world to be infected. Radio One you all are scare and you all should be taken off the air for good you all have no talent or business sense 80 90 music dont you know you can listen to 10.19 Steve Harvey. But you all knew Black people we need to get our own stations warren and al should be heard you can not stop greatness. Radio Station is sorry and they want last long. Keep your head up Warrn and Al the whole truthfighters community.

Bring back Keepin it Real. Thats what I listened to on my way to work and keeps me informed. That “other” station can keep playing the R&B of the 80′s and 90′s. If I wanted to hear music, I would tune into them.

So I guess “this is reality radio”. While I do love the 80′s mixes, Al Sharpton and Warren Ballintine provided the dialogue we so desperately need at a time such as this. Community action and public opinion are key and this move has stifled the very fundamental benefit of talk radio for the listening community. Isn’t that what you said Kathy?

I also live in Charlotte, NC and was very upset when I tuned to Q92.7 the so-called “People’s Station” and found both shows removed. I immediately thought “They Took’em down” just like they did a few years back with the line up @ WLIB in N.Y.

It’s a shameful check on our status and black folk’s reality; When in the new millennium, in the year 2009 black people Can Not have Talk Radio. Hispanics can and do have it, white people have it, but Talk radio of any “Substance” is elusive to black people.

As long as Negroes are talking about a bunch of meaningless drivel, sprinkled with trivial nonsense and the “Content” is formatted as “Entertainment” radio as opposed to “Informative” everything is okay.

But as soon as black radio addresses issues of politically organizing, community organizing & supporting black businesses and institutions…”POOF” the plug is pulled. What a bunch of sellouts!
