Westwood One is launching a CHR version of  The Billy Bush Show beginning the week of September 28. Hosted by Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush, the nighttime syndicated radio talk and music show will now come in a new version that focuses on entertainment stories and personalities with celebrity guests, listener calls and web presence tailored for CHR stations. Cumulus Media’s KLIF Dallas, WWWQ Atlanta and KRBE Houston will be the first to air the new version of the program, which is already heard on more than 100 stations nationwide. “He has conquered the Hot AC audience and now Billy sets his sights on providing the hottest music and the biggest stars for the CHR listener,” commented Westwood One EVP of Affiliate Sales, Dennis Green. “We are confident that Billy’s talent will continue to fill the need for Hot AC stations and become the destination for CHR listeners every night.” Week one of the new show will feature interviews with Mariah Carey, Kris Allen, Jesse McCartney and Leona Lewis. “I have spent a lot of time interviewing the hottest stars in music on television, and now I feel like I just grew another arm!,” commented Bush. “I have worked hard to achieve familiarity with today’s top artists, they know me, and that means I can go where others can’t quite yet. Listeners will love it.”
