Triton Digital Media Adds Ando Media

Triton Digital Media has purchased the online audio measurement and ad management provider Ando Media. The acquisition comes one month after Ando merged with Spacial Audio. Terms of Triton’s Ando buyout weren’t released, but Triton Media Group COO Mike Agovino says, “It’s a meaningful investment for us.”  Merging Triton’s other products into Ando Media, which earlier this year developed a server-side ad insertion technology is something that Agovino believes it will help the entire industry. “We’re in a position to do something that needs to be done to try to accelerate the pace in which radio gets into this game — and that pace needs to be accelerated,” he says.
