The rumors are flying that Don Imus and his Citadel Media syndicated “Imus In The Morning” show is in final negotiations with the Fox Business Network to simulcast the syndicated early-morning radio show.  No deal is in place yet between Imus and Fox, but if  things pan out, the arrangement could start sometime in September. “Imus in the Morning” has been simulcast on RFD-TV,  a cable network that covers rural America and agriculture since late 2007, in a deal that was done in an effort to attract subscribers in more urban areas. RFD-TV which is also rumored to be in financial straits, is no longer listing Imus on it’s broadcast schedule. *UPDATE* “Imus In The Morning” moves to Fox Business Network beginning October 5th.  FBN EVP Kevin Magee said, “We’re excited to welcome a renowned broadcaster like Don Imus to the Fox Business team. His 40 years of on-air experience combined with his superb interviewing skills and capitalist sensibilities will be a great addition to our lineup.”  Imus added, “I love FOX. Roger Ailes is the preeminent genius of American broadcasting. Who wouldn’t want to do this?”
