Wendy Williams Leaving Radio?

23 July 2009 88 views 2 Comments

There are some very strong rumblings that Westwood One syndicated radio and WBLS New York afternoon diva Wendy Williams will  leave radio at the end of next week. Williams has apparently been caught up in the bright lights of her new television show that debuted last week and will hang up the headphones to concentrate on her new career. There has been no official announcement yet  from either WBLS or Williams but we’re on this one. *UPDATE* It’s confirmed…Deon Levingston, the vice president and general manager of WBLS said in a statement: “We are saddened to lose one of our most popular personalities. But we understand what it requires to put a live show on television each and every day and wish Wendy all the best in this new venture.”
