Wendy Williams Nominated for Radio Hall of Fame

The National Radio Hall of Fame has announced that Wendy Williams is among the 16 nominees for 2009 induction into the hall. The Westwood One syndicated radio personality is nominated in the local/regional/active category for her 20 year body of work including her current position in afternoons at WBLS New York. Other nationally syndicated radio talent nominated for the hall of fame include; Cox Radio’s Neil Boortz, Citadel Media’s Bob Brinker, WOR Radio Network personality Joey Reynolds, Dr. Demento, Broadcast Hall of Famer Dick Orkin and the legendary Art LaBoe. Posthumous induction into the hall will be given to Studs Terkel, Harry Kalas and the “Puerto Rican Bob Hope” Jose Miguel Agrelot. Click here to vote for the nominees.
