David Hinckley’s column in the The New York Daily News is reporting that WCBS-FM 101.1 is set to replace its Sunday night “Radio Greats” and top-20 countdown shows with a custom version of  the United Stations Radio Networks syndicated “Dick Bartley’s Classic Countdown” beginning this weekend.  CBS Program Director Brian Thomas says in an interview that “Radio Greats” hosts Norm N. Nite and Don K. Reed will return “on special occasions” and that the weekend “Hall of Fame” feature will continue to feature “roots of rock ‘n’ roll” once a month. The Sunday night shows were the only weekend programs on WCBS-FM that were not rated in the top 10.
