New Media Seminar Draws Syndicators

A buzy workday on Friday and moving day on Saturday prevented me from spending a lot of time at the New Media Seminar in New York this weekend put on by Talkers Magazine and publisher Michael Harrison. I did get a chance to stop in both days and meet and greet with a few syndicated radio colleagues, (radio syndication companies and their talent were well represented) and attend a panel discussing new media tools available for talkers on Friday and the “Future of Terrestrial Talk Radio” late Saturday. Both were well attended with the former a bit more informative than the latter. Programmer Randall Bloomquist was also there and gives a nice recap of the weekends events, parties not included.
