Nielsen Signs ESPN For Radio Ratings

The Nielsen Company inks ESPN Radio to a multi-year deal to use its radio audience measurement service in the U.S., set to launch in August, 2009. ESPN Radio will use the Nielsen measurement in 51 markets, joining previously announced clients Cumulus Radio and Clear Channel Radio. “ESPN is proud to participate in the launch of the Nielsen radio service,” said VP/Audio Research & Special Projects Dr. Tom Evans. “We have a long history of supporting innovative research and look forward to reviewing the first set of audience data when it is released in August.”
