The power of the Internet and the ability of social networks to disseminate information and reduce the degrees of separation still boggles my mind. A blog posting by Eric Rhodes, publisher of Radio Ink came to my attention through a LinkedIn submission by George Reed about the article originally submitted on LinkedIn by Michael Waters that I received via an e-mail notification. Not only was I made aware of an excellent musing by Rhodes on the future of FM talk radio, but now I’ll follow Reed via Twitter and attempt to connect with Waters on LinkedIn. Two people who five minutes ago I knew absolutely nothing about.
