24 April 2009 764 views No Comment

It’s  been rumored for weeks  now it’s official, CBS Radio Atlanta has picked up syndicated radio talkers Al Sharpton and Warren Ballentine. The shows which had been dropped from Radio One Urban AC WAMJ-FM in a series of frequency moves and format flips that left them without a home in the nations 9th largest radio market, will debut Wednesday April 29th on WAOK-AM. After significant protest from listeners regarding the decision to replace the shows on WAMJ, talk quickly sprang up surrounding CBS’s interest in the talkers, particularly after two local WAOK  hosts were removed  from the station late last month.
