Dial Global has teamed up with Christian FM Networks for the Christian FM 24-hour Contemporary Christian Music format for network radio. Already on board are KKSP-FM/Little Rock and WSCF-FM/Vero Beach, FL. Christian FM Networks President Jon Hamilton said, “We are delighted to work with the industry leader Dial Global on this new format, which will allow local Christian stations to maintain a strong local identity while providing a top-quality sound. This agreement will bring important new technology to Christian broadcasting and allow the CCM format to continue its explosive growth.” Dial Global President/Programming Kirk Stirland added, “Jon and his team at Christian FM are uniquely qualified to bring this format to life nationally, and our STORQ platform is ideal for this application.” Christian FM Networks has been operating CCM stations for 20 years; the new deal gives them access to Dial Global technology and delivery systems. Barter ads will not be sold by Dial Global, but the format will be made available to commercial and noncommercial stations for fees, barter, or both.
