Rush’s New York State of Mind

2 April 2009 229 views No Comment

After the approval by New York lawmakers of a proposal to increase income taxes on persons earning more than $500,000 a year, Premiere Radio Network and EBI talker Rush Limbaugh is threatening to move his backup studios out of the state…even though he’s only there about three weeks a year. Rush who’s also been involved in a pretty nasty tax audit for the past six months said on his show yesterday, “So I’ll tell you what I’m going to do. I’m going to look for an alternative studio somewhere outside New York, perhaps Texas — another no-income-tax state — and I’m going to get the hell over there.”  In the meantime Rush has put ot the call to other states or cites who would be interested in hosting his fallback studios and has gotten calls from affiliates in Nashville, Dallas and Houston who would love to be a part of the publicity that move would bring.”
