Former Westwood One President/COO Peter Kosann will remain with Connoisseur Media as COO as he launches his own syndication network. Compass Media Networks will syndicate “Download HD,” a radio imaging and production library offering written and audio content, along with the “Free Beer & Hot Wings” morning show. Kosann says, “There is clearly a need for cost effective and unique programming which jumps off the radio dial.” Over the last month, Compass Media Networks has signed new affiliation agreements with Connoisseur Media, Big League Broadcasting, Genesis Communications, Great Eastern Radio, Maverick Media, Mount Wilson Broadcasting, and Rose City Radio, giving Kosann’s new venture 160 radio station affiliates.
