Westwood One reports that the Fred Thompson Show will debut a week from today (3/2) on more than 125 affiliates including Washington, Dallas, Houston and Minneapolis. The former U.S.senator, 2008 presidential candidate and star of televisions’ Law and Order will air from noon-2pm (ET) daily in the slot previously held by The Radio Factor with Bill O’Reilly. “Of all the radio talkers out there, how many can say they’ve debated in the Senate, campaigned for President of the United States, had a successful TV career, and shared the big screen with Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, Robert DeNiro and Sissy Spacek,” said Bart Tessler, WW One EVP/News and Talk Programming. “Thompson is as unique as they come and that will make for exceptional radio.”
