Is Randi Hitting the Rhodes?
Progressive talk show host Randi Rhodes was off the air for a second day Friday in what is looking like a dispute with syndicator NovaM Radio and CEO Sheldon Drobny. Her producer/intern wrote on the shows message board, “This is a Nova M issue and nothing of her own making.” Randi’s fans are less than appreciative of being kept in the dark about Randi’s absence so there are all sorts of other theories on the board surrounding why she’s off the air, from technical issues to alien abductions to a Rush Limbaugh conspiracy. This is the 2nd time in a less than a year that Randi has been off the air. Rhodes’ show is heard on 28 stations and Sirius XM. If you hear anything about Randi’s whereabouts, let us know. *UPDATE* This is worse than what most think. Randi’s on-air comments regarding Minnesota Senator-in-waiting Al Franken is what has her in hot water with Nova M, and there may not be a happy ending this time.
I think her new beau “Howard” has abducted her and has her chained in to the yellow couch. He is feeding her chocolates and selling her gold!
Randi Rhodes is as good and offers the same quality as Thom Hartmann in Talk Radio.
Her political insight and commitment to real research is unmatched in the Talk Radio industry!
Randi is one of a kind and a real delight to listen to.

It’s amazing what kind of stuff you hear on the radio when Randi Rhodes has what sounds like another drunken mishap and can’t carry the entire three-hour show without talking about her boyfriend and all the famous people she knows.
Her angry attacks/rants make her appear too unstable to be employed.
Producer, not intern, and it is a technical issue. nothing more.

This is the Randi Rhodes who fell down drunk outside a bar, and LIED told everyone she was beaten up & mugged. Which started the rumour she had been attacked by a roving gang of Right Wing Limbaugh groupies. The witness who was at that bar said she was being “obnoxious, loud & crass.”
Rhodes just can’t ever learn and stop her endless bullshitting. Mark Green of Air America said he was “relieved and happy” Rhodes quit.
Randi demanded a car & driver in her contract, even after Air America couldn’t pay their bills.
Now her ratings on Nova M are in the crapper. So why would the Drobnys let her intimadate them? The mystery is- Why Does Randi Rhodes have such a huge Ego? – She went AWOL from the Air Force. Google-”Randi Rhodes Goddess of gab” She never finished high school. She was fired from her job in Texas because she was a skanky Cocaine addict. All she does is read the Wash. Post , The Nation, Huffington Post ,New York Times Brent Budosky and parrot what they say.
While i miss listening to randis rants, she IS a “D” list minor celebrity and a name dropper to the extreme. Even though she is annoying, i hope she finds a home soon, as we share many of the same political beliefs.

I’ve been a big fan of Randi Rhodes since her show went national. I am amazed at the lack of interest as to what’s going on with her now. She just disappears with a short note about contractual problems with Nova M and two months later nobody cares? At this point the reason for her absence is secondary to Ms Rhodes’ disrespect for her listeners. If she’s done for good, she should do as she pleases. If she’s just temporarily taking care of personal business and she intends on getting back on the air, we deserve an explanation. A lot of us have shown unwavering support for Randi, so I just do not get why she’s deciding to treat us with such disrepect.
