Mr. Schultz Goes To Washington

20 January 2009 290 views No Comment

It seems there’s going to be more than one famous Midwesterner relocating to Washington. After years of resisting a move from his home studios in Fargo North Dakota, Progressive talk star Ed Schultz is moving to D.C. to be closer to the action. He’ll be based out of the Center for American Progress run by former Clinton chief of staff and current co-chair of the Obama transition team, John Podesta. Besides his radio show Ed’s been a media go-to guy and has access to the technology to be pretty available from Fargo. But with all the new energy in Washington, he’s probably feeling a little removed way up north. This also puts him in a better place for the television job he’s been chasing for awhile.
