They’ve taken quite a few of those hits over the past year losing affiliates in Washington, Dallas and Philly…now CBS has dropped O&A in Boston and Cleveland. We talked about the steady exodus of stations in an earlier post and although they still are based out of CBS owned WXRK New York and appear on Sirius XM, you have to wonder which one will finally put the “nail in the coffin”, CBS or Mel Karmizan.  Frankly, I have never understood the appeal of these two and based on the ratings at K-Rock and the XM subscriptions attributed to them, not many others do either.

It is easy to make unsubstantiated claims and slam a show you probably don’t understand. Their ratings book in their target audience of males 18-40 are great especially on the new ratings scheme. Why don’t you put some numbers and facts in your story to support your claims. Oh that’s right your too busy F@cking your mother.

I’m just glad to have WBCN (in Boston) back in the mornings. Man this show was awful. Norton was funny, but O&A had nothing to contribute that was interesting. It seemed like they were biding their time until they could switch over to XM.

Jim what was it? It seems like they couldn’t keep a home in Boston. What was wrong with the show for you? type of humor, playing it safe? no Beantown talk? what…
