Arbitron just released it’s annual “Network Radio Today” report and it shows that network radio still has some significant reach, with nearly three-quarters of Americans 12 and older, and 74 percent of both 18-49s and 25-54s exposed to network radio each week. Other highlights from the report show that nearly two-thirds of the 18-plus audience for network radio is college-educated, and 70 percent of college graduates tune in to network radio every week. Seventy-five percent of Americans earning $50,000 to $75,000 and 74 percent of those earning more than $75,000 hear network radio weekly. According to the study network radio reaches 85 percent of black Americans between 18 and 49 weekly, and 86 percent of black 25-54s. Hispanic teens, ages 12-17, hear more network radio than any other Hispanic age group, with 74 percent. To download the entire report click here.
