The Left Coast Top 40 legend, Charlie Tuna, who at some point in his 40 year career worked at almost every contemporary music station in Los Angeles, is joining the the TKO Radio Network’s Classic Top 40 24/7 syndicated line-up to do middays. The roster already includes other Top 40 legends Jim Zippo, Eric Chase (one of my personal favs), Marty Thompson and John Records Landecker. Charlie will do 10am-2pm on Dallas-based CT40 and will be available for up to five hours a day, customized for other formats and timeslots. Add to that Tuna’s hosting a new five-hour weekend show for CT40, which can be accessed either by satellite or download.
