 Salem Boosts Gallagher

There is some shuffling going on with a couple of conservative talkers and its affecting the landscape in a number of radio markets. WIND-AM Chicago is the latest and the 17th Salem Communications station to drop Talk Radio Networks Laura Ingraham for Salem Radio Network host Mike Gallagher. Other Salem markets affected include Los Angeles, San Diego, Atlanta, Denver, Orlando, Louisville, Phoenix, Tampa and Honolulu. As Salem continues the rollout for Gallagher, TRN has acquired a new home for Ingraham in each of affected markets and is set to announce new affiliates in Seattle, Minneapolis, Sacramento, Cleveland, San Antonio and Portland next week.

I so wished you would put Laura Ingraham back on station 910 Portland Oregan area. Mike Gallagher is too biased and shallow, repeating, repeating, whereas, Laura Ingraham sees the broad picture, and yet is grounded in conservative thinking.

Is KTRO still talk? The news was that they had flipped to a simulcast of the Country formatted FM.
