strobinson Joyner Names His Commentators Well the wait is over, this morning Tom Joyner Morning Show listeners heard the announcement of the winner of an on-air search to replace Tavis Smiley as a weekly news commentator on the Reach Media nationally syndicated show. Surprisinglyjeff johnson Joyner Names His Commentators the weekly spot will go to not one but two personalities, Jeff Johnson, special TV host on Black Entertainment Television and Stephanie Robinson, president and CEO of the Jamestown Project. The two will now be heard every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:17am EST, starting on Tuesday September 16th. Joyner threw out the challenge to his listeners to find a new commentator after splitting with Smiley after 12 years. *UPDATE* Former WVON-AM Chicago morning man and CNN contributor, Roland Martin, will also join the TJMS as a daily commentator.
