Ingraham Extends TRN DealLaura Ingraham has finally signed off on a multi-year extension with Talk Radio Networks, after months of some pretty nasty negotiations that led to her being “locked off” the air for a time back in June. In an alls-well-that-ends-well press release Ingraham says, “This is a critical time for our country both politically and culturally, and I am thrilled to continue my daily conversation with my listeners coast-to-coast. I feel like I’m just getting warmed up.” She adds, “TRN, led by Mark Masters, has demonstrated a clear talent for fostering and growing innovative talk radio programming, and I look forward to continuing our successful collaboration. Americans want and deserve smart, funny and irreverent talk, and I intend to keep giving it to them.” This certainly sounds like a love fest after all the speculation about her future with the network a few weeks ago. TRN says it will be announcing a number of new major affiliates soon.
