Just as everyone expected, after ending the syndication of “The Doug Banks Morning Show” on Dec. 31, ABC Radio Networks will begin syndicating “The Doug Banks and DeDe McGuire Show” for afternoon drive on Monday Jan. 14. The show began airing on its flagship affiliate Clear Channel urban AC WVAZ (V-103)/Chicago on Friday Jan. 11. Doug and co-host DeDe McGuire will still broadcast from Dallas as they did for “The Doug Banks Morning Show.” The field of nationally syndicated Urban morning shows is pretty much down to four again, with Tom Joyner, Steve Harvey, Rickey Smiley and Big Boy doing battle depending on what demo you’re talking about.
